It was most definitely an inspiring trip. The opportunities to understand the back story behind some of the bricks and mortar we saw was exceptional. I have known some folks who have done guided real estate tours in Dubai and to China. Though inspiring, those places are worlds away and difficult to relate to the market in which we operate. Chicago on the other hand is very” relatable” to our market. The willingness of the presenters from Chicago to candidly share so much information about their projects and experiences was inspiring and generous to say the least. Kudos to you and Matt for finding these folks and organizing this action packed and informative trip. It’s hard to imagine how you were able to fit everything we did into such a small window of time.
