The ULI Alberta Young Leaders Group has partnered with both the University of Calgary as well as the University of Alberta to host a mentorship program. These mentorship programs will provide students with the opportunity to learn more about the real estate industry and its related career paths from industry professionals.
“The ULI Mentorship Program was exactly what I needed ahead of graduation. Time with my mentor got my head out of textbooks, learning what my industry looks like from within. I feel more confident about what lies ahead after university since completing the program. Truly grateful for this opportunity.” – Liam Kachkar, ULI Mentorship Program 2021
“The mentorship program has been valuable as it has allowed myself to connect with another Urban Planner. I was able to build a connection with my mentor and ask him questions related to both my classes and future career path. This has helped me navigate through the Covid era as connection and networking became challenging. As a student I have been grateful to have student pricing as this makes it more accessible to more students.”– Cameron McDowell, BA Planning, ULI mentorship program 2021
